Pretty disappointed with the results, I've just fitted a 3" turbo back downpipe into a de-cat which reduces to 2" and mates with a full cat-back system (mandrel bent) to a twin exit

1. it's not loud at all!?? it actually sounds the same as the standard system, bar a tiny winy bit louder, can hear my open air filter roaring more then the exhaust

2. to be truthfully honest, I can't notice any performance gains, early boost etc etc

Everything on the car is in good working order, healthy. What gives?

get it mapped to incorporate the free flowing dp and decat, you will see the performance gain then.

noise wise, has it a rear silencer?

yes it will, allow ecu time to adapt.... maybe reset then go for a blast to allow to reset parameters.

stage 2 for best benefits though

silencer in the middle but surley a 3" downpipe and de-cat would make the exhaust burble a little, perhaps some pops, basically:

one of these (for a Leon Cupra instead):

so leave the battery disconnected for 30 minuets

Now before you lot go off on one, these a VERY high quality items, superb welds, build quality and finnish

na i ant got a centre piece just the back box and mine sounds nice if i dont say so me self not to loud but enough to sound like theres power there

I did the same as Lee , only got a different exhaust tone when i put the Cupra R back box on, then even more when i fitter the Piper Turbo back ( non resinated )

You should notice a hell of a difference to be honest, both me and Kenetic made 198bhp with standard map.

How come the catback system is 2"? thats less then standard?

Sorry mate it's 2.5" typo,

Left the battery off for 30 minuets, took it to some nice b roads, gave it some, Actually have noticed the difference, and on the motorway today.

Happy now, but sound could be better. :)

Give the exhaust a while to coke up, it will get louder :)
