2 of my wheels are pretty battered to be honest and could do with a refurb, but as im adventurous (and cheap
) i'm thinking of giving it a bash myself!
saw in halfords that they do those DIY kits which are about £30 but from reading the box its just liquid metal a few sheets of sandpaper and paint which you can buy seperate for next to nowt!
so if i got some liquid metal or some of that putty stuff that dries like metal, filled in the scrapes, sanded it down and then painted it would that do the job?
if it saves me a few pennies its worth a go, otherwise its only off to the refurbers anyway!
any suggestions peeps?
