Do Ovni Yellow owners regret being Ovni Yellow owners?

Love my cupra in yellow. What can I do about the couple of laquer patches on the bonnet ?

The best thing about it is that when I actually have wear my sunglasses to wash it :)
 
Yep fade drives me crackers! But I do polish mine every weekend & covered the roof with vinyl matt black. When it's all polished and waxed it's the best colour to have. So different everybody has black silver etc etc...
 
I never ever thought I'd buy a yellow car. I bought it because it kicked all the other boxes but had to think about the colour. I'm very glad I bought it now! After all it's the signature colour for the LCR.
It suits the cars character. My little girl when you ask her "would you like to go in the blue car or the yellow car" will always say "I want to go in the custard car". Then will always say "Can we go faster Daddy". She's only three!
Yeh the faded bonnet and roof p's me off, but... Everyone needs Some thing bright and nuts in there life. Will have to get saving for that respray!

£60 all in including paint etc but swindons a bit far from manchester and you need to leave it a week-week and a half ;)
 
its the i know sam special ;) i got in touch with a guy a while back and said that there are alot of people with yellow leon who want a respray what can you offer and he came back with that and he does a good job as i saod look at UFO yellows readers ride for some pics ;)

I'm a quiet person don't want to be the centre of attention etc: when the time came to replace my mk3 vr I saw a mint low mile lc cupra in ovni yellow ( it was nearly 5 years ago now) at a reputable car dealer and I just went for it, I didn't do any research as such prior to buying it, didn't even test drive it! A leon cupra has got to be in ovni yellow - that's the colour of a cupra!.
I loved that car, only didn't really think I would get so much negative and sometimes aggressive remarks about it from people- yes but it's a cupra so do one!.
I Kept it in good shape with meguiars shampoo and colinite 915 wax.
My mum and dad now own that car and it's only just started to 'milk up' in a few places but they love it! I feel gutted though that these cars suffer from a poor quality lacquer, I'd have another one though tomorrow. I sold the yellow car as mentioned and now have a Ginger one! (bronze metallic cupra), don't get many negative comments, thanks for Reading.

Would not have my LCR in any other colour! It looks amazing.... Although I never thought I'd own a yellow car but then I came across my LCR and that was it. Fell in love with it!

I admit that it is fading a bit but a simple blow over and a metallic black roof and spoiler.... And yes please! :)
 
love my onvi leon stands out yeallow black wheels have abit of fade not to noticable untill you look up close, soon to be in for a full respay cant wait :D
 
ONVI FTW!!!!!!!!!!

got rid of my golf for it and i dont regret it at all. I didnt see the fade untill i gave it a proper wash at home and i proper fell in love with it. It just needs lowering and i dont think i will ever get rid of it oh and a remap.
 
for £1500 I had to swallow my pride but its gleaming in yellow again, still makes me smile !
 
ovni is the best colour by far :D

as with seemingly everyone else i've got the dreaded fade but who cares, it still look sh*t hot when it's clean.
