Hi every1.
Pretty sure my standard bosch recirc valve has kicked the bucket.
Does any1 know if driving the car will cause any damage while i get my self a new 1(obviously not a bosch 1)??
The symptons are wastegate chatter and hesitation when changing gear.
Ive only had the car a few days and i think its been like it for a while..
Also can i expect to see her going a fair amount faster once replaced?
Thanks for any help lads.

The chattering is not real good as it weakens the turbo life, the hesitation is caused by maf not sensing the recirc valve pressure, this would cause the car to run rich. It may be ok as long you dont drive on boost. but i would recommend change it asap.

you will find that with the chatter it will open the wastgate a million times a second causeing the turbo to back spin. ok on a stronger turbo but not so much on these small ones. but i had no issues when i did it for a while and my car was on 100k
