Does a Mk3 cupra (2001) have side repeaters?

yes it does in the front wings as on most cars see my avatar as they are std

take it yours have been removed and smoothed by a previous owner...

You must have got a really picky MOT station, my other half has taken the side repeaters out and smoothed on his corrado and he has no problems. I thought the rule was if they are there they have to work if not they dont apply, maybe not so. My bro took his peugot for a MOT with a smashed side repeater and it failed, cos the car was worth nowt the guy at the garage advised him to wip them out and stick stickers over the holes, he did and it passed!

Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986
These must be fitted with one side repeater indicator on each side. Instead of a separate lamp, the side repeater might be part of the front direction indicator if it includes a wraparound lens. Lamps incorporating a side repeater are marked either with an 'E' mark in a circle or an 'e' mark in a rectangle above which is the number 5.
