ahh right sorry.. Yeah 0 gauge is the best stuff and a power cap also.

My mate hada 1.5 power cap with his audiobahn gear and it was still making the lights dim

ref power caps everything ive read seems to be a 'no' about them so will try thicker wires and the big 3 for now.

my main power is 2 gauge, my amp earth is 1 foot of 4 gauge, the batt -ve to chassis appeeeears to be 4 gauge, it actually looks quite thin compared to my power (see crap pic)

i wanna do engine-chassis earth and alt-batt positive, but i dont know where they are physically. hopefully my incoming fabia haynes manual will give me an idea...

my engine off=12.2v
engine idling=14.4v
engine on with air con+lights going is 12.7v (which is quite low?)
