Wondered if you can plug in cool boxes etc into adaptor in boot of the V5?
My cig lighter has stuck and I can't remove it so need an alternative.Cars at home so can't nip out to check

Cheers

You may not have it. I have one in the 10v but I know some 20v owners have it and some don't. Can't say I've ever used mine though. You shouldn't miss it if you've got one though, there's a cap near the nearside rear wheel arch IIRC

The answer is for some reason some do and some don't, maybe a bit of an extra, at the time of purchase

I have a 2002 V5 170, and mine has one.Located on nearside wheelarch.Easy to see,so if you can't see it,probably haven't got one.

My 110 Tdi has one on the lefthand (nearside?) felt lining panel in the boot
But do remember to unplug the cool box before locking up for the night
Took me 15 minutes Monday morning to figure out why the f*&$%&ng car wouldn't start, and this is why I went out monday night and fitted a discreet dashboard mounted switch, and a not so discreet sign on top of the dash as a reminder.

Wouldn't it be easier to use a relay to that if the key is in Pos 1 or greater it works?
