Door rattles from boc

Well the 1z einszett Gummi Pflege Stift has not worked on our doors , so we are returning backto the meguiars mirror glaze and giving it more time and more coats now.

What i cannot understand is why our car was fine for about 4 tousand mile then the doors or rubber seals or both started to move and make this noise?????????????
I hope all you guys and gels outthere are reporting this when you go in for your first service alsewise nothing will be done about it.

We take ours in next month for it,s first service. i will be reporting it big time.

you are right , can't remember exactly but it happened after a couple tousand kilometers for me.

Put the meguiers back on the weekend but it did not work this time, i need to clean this 1z einszett Gummi Pflege Stift stuff off our rubbers now before we coat again with the mebuiars.
What can i use to clean this stuff off the rubbers, will need to be quite strong i think.

You could try tricomethalyne or basically car paint thinners, available in 500ml and 1ltr tins. use with a mask and well ventilated area. It will get you off your face otherwise. Oh and use protective goloves if you have sensitive skin. It degreases most things. If not try mucoff from Xlite its a cycle degreaser / cleaner alcalyne based and fully biodegradeable. There is also stuff by motul which is a really powerful degreaser solvent based used to clean motorcycle and bicycle drive trains. the last two will not affect you paintwork. the thinners will so use sparingly no naked flames or heat and dispose of cloths afterwards

We may have found the problem on this door/seal rattle

I am going to give it a weeks test before i post results.

I think we are getting closer now to resolving this noise.

Ok.
We have found which rubbers are causing the noise and have polished them and tried it for a week now ,and done about 450 mile, and the doors are still silent.so i am convinced this is the cure for our car anyway.
We are so pleased to have a nice silent interior once again, as new.
I will explain which ones they are tomorrow.

Don't think that's gonna work mate hehehehehehehehe. On another note, has any one noticed a rattle from the boot? Mine rattles away like mad and irritates the crap out of me. I think it could be the spare wheel, have not had time to pull it out and have a drive to make sure yet. Can't believe they have no padding or sound proofing in there.........

Mines still rattle free after applying AG bumper care very thinly to the door seals.

Here we go.
The section of rubber/felt on the door that is causing the rattle is the one above the felt seal on the inside top of the door frame, polish this sectoin all the way round to the down to the bottom of the window, and make sure you polish the paintwork of the car on the outside where this part of the rubber/felt seal touches.
It has taken us 6 months to work this out with the help of some of you guys on here ,but we got there in the end.
Our Cupra has been as quiet as the first day we got it for a week now.

We used Meguiars mirror glaze professional vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner 40 for the door rubber seals.
