Hi All, I'm the mk3 owner with them

The fit is excellent, they slide over the buckle and snap on very tightly.

There are some other ones out there with no branding so its more suitable if you were to colour code them but they are a bit more expensive.

Nope, they don't really do anything other than maybe keep the metal base clean, its just for aesthetics.

I've not noticed any difference in the sound when shutting the doors.

It's just to tidy up the door shut area. The high spec VAG's have them I think, I think there's a VAG part number but they will be more than £2.70 for 4.

I forgot to update this thread.

They arrived last week, I fitted them, they snap on and fit perfectly on the MK2. I think they tidy up the door shut/kick plate area very well.

All in all a very good little mod for a couple of quid.
