Door Strips

Has anybody tried taking off the plastic strips that run down the side of the car?

Was thinking about taking them off but dont know whether they are just stuck on or if there are holes in the bodywork underneath them?!

Any thoughts?

hi, use the search function been covered loads before!

However in answer to your question...yes they have been taking off, they are held on with adehisive pads. but there are locator holes too (edit)

Lots of people (me included) have colour coded them....some have smoothed too

They have holes under them so if you remove them you'd need to smooth them.
