Door warning light

The door warning light came on on my cupra today... Even when the doors are shut, it stays on.

Any ideas?

Mine only comes on when the hatchback is open - if any of the other doors are open then it doesnt come on at all

I thought it was a boot warning light only?. If it is this that's on, check your rear washer pipe for a leak. it may have leaked onto the boot sensor (I think it's located near the lock catch) and shorted it out. You might have to remove the boot trim or rear plastic to locate the leak.

What lights are you looking at?. I think we were talking about a dash light not the puddle lights on the doors

mine did the same couple of days ago when the missus washed more like bathed it think sensors wet spoke to a mate whos got a golf n his did same said sensors bout 20 quid must be a german thing?
