The standard CAT will be the most restrictive part of the whole system. Even just by changing this piece you should notice a difference. By changing your CAT and DP you will notice a bigger difference as the DP is also restrictive, the noise will increase too. At least if you do this its only a case of doing a CAT back some other time and you've then got the full system

ok so where the best downpipe and cat and how much am ilooking at here?

i like the idea of noise and bhp increase but dont fancy changing the tailpipe.

Miltek / Blueflame / Piper

You missed the Blueflame group buy (not that it didn't have it's problems), but Piper are have just finished development on Leon systems...there's a sticky at the top of this forum, have a read, and see what you think.

Oh and i did change my centre pipe and backbox to the race package from supersprint. This was a perfect fit, the centre pipe fitted directly onto the Cat with out using any additional pipes.

what size is the oem LCR downpipe?
i have been offered a 2.5" downpipe an been told this will be a big improvement?
everyone is going 3" is this a must?
and will sports cat be a big difference ie get rid of the two cats standard and replace them wit just one 200cell cat.

what is the standard cats cell???? is it 400 each?
