SEAT its only a Gasket leaking it wont be caused by DPF Delete


Nah i doubt yours is leaking, Check it tho you will see lots of soot around exhaust underneath
 
i will when i get somewhere dry but its going back down on friday as my passenger windscreen worker kind of broke during its reinstallation lol so getting that FOC from Shark and i think hes going to take it out and again and check for flat spots etc.
 
would love to see a RR graph for a Shark De-DPF'd CR Leon. From Sharks Posts on Briskoda they reakon that their map is a LOT better than the JBS one.....

They also reakon that its quicker....

I had mine RR'd By Awesome on Saturday and it only made 202bhp :cry: and 360 lb.ft :D


If Shark where going to give me a huuuuge discount on the remap i might change from CC to Shark

I've had 4 different rolling roads now mate and all made between 230-244 depending on temperature, average torque output is about 340-350. Defo think yours has an issue Andrew no way it should be makin that low a bhp
 
i know but we carnt find an issue, All boost pipes are fine, Doesnt feel any less powered either

35.5bhp is alot to loose by lottery tho id expect 10bhp at maximum really
 
BIGG i was meanin to ask you. whats the next step now ive got my dpf off is there anything extra like fuel pumps or intercoolers to get the bhp up even more?
 
Nobodys gone further with a PD or CR


Ive looked at Turbo's and Injectors but it starts getting quite expensive
 
Yeh, i'm toying with the idea, but then your getting onto the side of (unreliability).
Talked to JBS about further mods, essentials are Uprated clutch(which i have waiting to be fitted) 300bhp, but with that come SHED loads of torque, which will be relatively unusable in a FWD derv. Then you start thinking about LSD's which while being good going roung corners and coming off bends will have minimal impact at take off speeds..... is it worth it really? That is the BIG question. I would guess engine longetivity would be shortened drastically also.
 
You carnt Hybrid a PD170 Turbo as it wont offer any more power it will just ease the pressure on the turbo so that means you need a new bigger turbo at approx £1200


Volkswagen racing told me there Injectors on there PD140 Caddy cost around 3k so i wouldnt like to say how much injectors for the PD wud be

It is a lot to lose mate. You made really good torque right enough. When did your Max bhp come in, i said in another thread i had proven RR runs back to back with standard paper filter and KnN panel filter and everytime i was losing half a dozen to 10bhp and over 10 ft lbs of torque, not only that but the max power was coming in at slightly lower revs? Are yous till running your panel filter?

S**t must of deleteted some of my post by mistake meant to say uprated injectors run into £1***'s of pounds and you also need to look at larger turbo's as the standard one is maxed out!:blink:
 
Yeh turbo Dynamics told me my Standard turbo shudnt be running 235bhp


What clutch have you gone for? and with DMF or SMF?



Ive decided im not going to do anything now until VOSA have announced these new Diesel Emissions laws. If they bring in the DPF law then i will be swapping this for a Petrol Cupra
 
Went for DMF mate as the car is a daily runner don't want her being to unrefined so to speak. Yeh i am in the same boat, was gonna keep this quiet but have my eye on a 59 plate focus RS just now, it's just the running costs at 21 :( WIll hang tight (i think) until new emissions law. As i do love the leon as an all rounder.:)
 
Im same im only 21,22 in about 4 weeks

I like the leon shape plus most of my Mods (Grill's,Mirror Caps,Springs) will fit a petrol Cupra aslong as its Pre-Facelift so thats why im looking at a Cupra
