I didn't buy an FR, Cupra or Bocanegra, if I had and I used the power and performance I wouldn't be complaining about the mpg. I really enjoy driving, I always have, but now it's costing almost £500 per year more than it should be.
It would all kick off if your insurance went up £500 or the road tax was increased by £500. Especially if it was just for you and not for everyone. Or if you suddenly had to pay 162.9p per litre while everyone else still paid 130.9p per litre.
You bought your car for its performance and you got it. If it failed to produce the power you'd take it to the dealer and they would fix it. I bought mine for its economy and I didn't get it but there's no way Seat are going to do anything about it.
p.s. apologies to all you guys who ARE already paying astronomical insurance premiums
