I didn't buy an FR, Cupra or Bocanegra, if I had and I used the power and performance I wouldn't be complaining about the mpg. I really enjoy driving, I always have, but now it's costing almost £500 per year more than it should be.

It would all kick off if your insurance went up £500 or the road tax was increased by £500. Especially if it was just for you and not for everyone. Or if you suddenly had to pay 162.9p per litre while everyone else still paid 130.9p per litre.

You bought your car for its performance and you got it. If it failed to produce the power you'd take it to the dealer and they would fix it. I bought mine for its economy and I didn't get it but there's no way Seat are going to do anything about it.

p.s. apologies to all you guys who ARE already paying astronomical insurance premiums

I totally see where you're coming from, Seat definately need to sort out their MPG figures, as they truely are pretty rubbish, would make me just as annoyed as you if i was in your position.

This is why i got rid off my octavia because the DPF caused so many problems i used to do a 70mile round trip on the motorway but would send the DPF light on while i was on the motorway and it would only do 42mpg cruising, bring back the old 1.9units soooooooooooo much better.

Well it's booked into dealers next Tuesday, thought I'd let you all know and then can tell you what they say
