Hello all!

I have a Seat leon mk3 190 DSG and I came across an emergency mode fault. Car only went into even gears.

Long story short, I have the car at a VAG specialist garage and they've come back to me that the mechatronics unit would need replacing. They've ordered the replacement unit from Germany. They said 2 weeks but wasn't too sure if this was the case. I understand that the unit will need programming.
Has anyone recently ordered a mechatronics unit from Germany and if so how long it took to arrive?

They did advise that the work would take 3-4 hours once it arrives.

Thank you

Was the fault code relating to that clutch 2 opens unintentionally?

From experience, it's the control unit on the mechatronics module that needs replacing, that's a special order part tailored to your vehicle and takes 7-10 days to arrive.
However, the complete mechatronics modules can be fitted to any applicable vehicle. If they're not on backorder they usually arrive within a couple of days, there is a significant price difference between the two repair methods.
