Driver Window Problem

Hi I have recently brought a mk3 ibiza cupra and the driver window has stopped working!! I have looked inthe manual and it says that there is fuses above the relay boared that protect the electric windows but i cannot find them anywere. any idears? Thanks

Will more than likely be the window regulator there about £90 and easy to fit use the search option and you will find loads of threads on this mate. And welcome to the club

If its your motor thats packed in I have a spare one here, if its your cable runners I may also be able to help.

mine does this intermittently too, starting to pi$$ me right off !

its going in for work on saturday so will hava a look at it when i get my car back

Intermittently could mean its just the switch, or the cables are starting to fray. Mine worked on and off for a good few months before it packed in.

And i've just replaced one that worked when out of the car and no load, howeber the motor seems very week which could be a sign of fraying cables blocking up the mech.

Could do if its weak, but chances are its your cable runner.

hi mate sorry to hear that, my passenger window went aswell so had to by a whole new regulator. but the motor on the old regulator is in working order so if you need one then you can have it free of charge.

Thanks for your help every one will get it checked out. I will let you no if i need any of these parts. Also what air filter do you reconmend and as my car is a import from holland will it mean any parts will be different? sorry if i sound like a idiot
