Drivers Door not unlocking when removing Key

Good afternoon all

wondering if someone could help me.

when i remove the key from the ignition the drivers door should unlock yes, well it used to.

Now it doesn't, if i take the key out, giggle it about at the lock it usually does unluck.
Now this only seemed to start happening since I changed the head unit, no wiring has changed, just plugged a new one in.

Also is there anyway you can disable the auto lock function?

try putting the standard hu back in see if it works then.

yeah can be disabled very easy with vag com

strange thing is, it wasnt astandard HU that was in it to start with , it was a Pioneer, and i have put a Sony in

Youve wired the Switched and Constant battery feeds the wrong way round...

The Red wire from the car goes to the yellow wire on the Head Unit connector and vice versa. That should get it working
