Hey Folks,

Just wondering how much SEAT charges for an oil change on the DSG. On 38,000 miles now, so it'll soon be time. Thanks in advance!

Thanks all. From a little research, £150.00 - £190.00 sounds about right.

Awesome GTI are in Manchester so not too far away from me. £159.00 is their cost. I'll ring my local dealer and ask anyway. Can't do any harm.

I remember when my mate needed the DSG in his Passat servicing and the VW dealers all quoted about 300 quid, Awesome GTI was about 150 and as he had his normal service done at the same time they did him a re-map for 100 quid (was a 2.0tdi 140), it was a completely different car when it came back from them! :D

Keeping on the same theme. Mine's on 35,500, so like yours due the service... but, I had a full gearbox and clutch changed in September 2016, so 3-4 months old. I'm assuming Seat will want the service doing, but does it need a "full-on" service? Anyone know?

if you are mapped I would consider this way before 40k the dsg does get very hot when we put loads more torque through it ,I did mine on 30k when I went stage 2

Stock at the moment I have a 2015 cupra 280 just out of warranty any trust worthy garages you know of in the Midlands area or Warwick?

Oh wow. I also have a mk3 with an auto DSG gearbox. Why does it cost so much to drain oil and refill...?

I remember seeing another thread similar to this and I was concerned about me having already done 63,000 and maybe needing a gearbox oil change... But was told my mk3 has a dry clutch system... Are we talking about wet clutch systems here?

I thought mk3 was wet clutch system, my local dealer told me it was sealed for life another dealer told me its serviceable I think their own staff are some what confused but not sure.

According to the Seat Service schedule for UK Cars (6-gear DSG gearbox 0D9) needs an oil / filter change every 60,000 KM 37282 Miles

Yes I started another thread on the Front Diff oil change, the market of dealers came back from between every 20k to 4 years but as you can see according to Seat its 3 years.
