1/ Quality and tech of the product.

2/The fact that i had to pay extra for a blanking plug.

3/Push button program and fine tune settings on the DTUK.

4/ £109 to change it from my exsisting car to my potential next car ( only £75 with DTUK )

5/ Lack of dyno proof of figures from TDI.

Thats about it really

I didn't have to pay a thing when transferring the DTUK box from my 1.6 tdi to my fr184. Just postage costs so they can update the software. Why did you have to pay £75?

seems like reasonable reasons.

You'll have to pay if it is different leads on your new car. Just a flash of the software is a bit simpler.

None of which are relevant to how it performs.
Don't get me wrong, all points that I would consider, but I tried it on the grounds I could send it back if it wasn't better than the DTUK unit I was running, and I kept it!
It's not as fancily package as aTrevor, and buttons are nice, but it's under the bonnet and I don't touch it now it's set. (I also got a blanking plug for free!)
Each to there own I suppose...

Quick question DTUK box costs around 300 including posting maybe more. A revo stage one map in northern Ireland is currently on offer for 390 is it better to go for the map car is still under warranty

I just took the car for a short run on 3+1, must say there's some difference between that and 2+1.
It seems as the torque kicks in at even lower revs. Perhaps that is the big difference between the 3 maps, at least my feeling is just that.

I have so far only tried 1+0, 1+1 - seems as the fun part begins at the higher revs on map 1, then I have also tried 2+1 and 3+1.
I think perhaps 3+1 is a bit too aggressive, can't decide yet, will have to let it settle some before I decide if I should change back to 2+1.

Well I can't say exactly, but would say that it starts in the area around +/- 1400, 1600, 1800 (map 3, 2, 1). Would have to use some measuring equipment to get a better overview. I'm thinking of logging the turbo pressure and rpm data from elm327 adapter when I get time for it.

I'm currently using settings 2 +2 on the CRD3+ the pull you get from 3rd and up is really good. Had an S5 in the dust yesterday.
Has anyone done a DPF delete while using a DTUK box?
