No just cat back for now. They're offering the remap at half price and that's the reason why I'm taking it. Nothing wrong with the box I rate it highly!

They've offered to put on rr with box then rr with the map. If it's not much difference I'll keep the box :)

Has anyone tried the DTUK FSR+ & Pedal Box combo on their 1.4 150?
I like the power at the moment but like a lot of people I yearn for a little more.

Hello guys, any opinions running the new Dtuk CRD3 box? Especially the ones upgraded from the CRD-T+, what are your opinions? How do you like the new box compared to the CRD-T ? I am looking to buy one for my XP 184.

Thanks!

Got my crd3 box yesterday, will see if I can get i mounted during the weekend (got a pretty tight schedule), but I can't wait to try it out and feel how it compares to the 'old' trevor.

I sold my Leon last week, I have the latest CRD3 box sitting indoors.
It totally transformed the car in all honesty, everything was taken up a notch yet was still very driveable.
The torque was very impressive.
Pm me if your interested, it's boxed with just a week of use

CRD3+ - 150 TDI FR DSG (normal mode). No pedal box

So far I have only tried mainly 1.0 and today on my way to work I switched to 1.1. The difference between the two modes seems minor when just driving normally, but when flooring it, you can feel some more torque, not a lot more though noticeable - and I don't find it too aggressive.

In general, driving feels extremely smooth and I have not had any tendency towards judder, also tried to floor it uphill to see how it handled it, and it was just excellent. The engine doens't feel as "troubled" as it sometimes did on my Manual Leon 150 TDI with trevor on - but this might relate to the car being a DSG.

It is difficult to make a direct comparison between the tri-channels system vs. Trevor, as I haven't tried trevor on my current car. Also my old car was a manual 150 TDI - and the DSG vs. manual is really two totally different worlds.

As far as mpg, I have absolutely no indications for it to be worse or better, that is far too early for me to say anything in that regard. I will probably be trying the other maps before I go heads on with some long term testing on mpg.

I'll keep noting things as I experience them and update you along the way.

So now I had my first drive on 2.1 on my way to work today - not a long drive, but ooh boy what a smooth ride. compared to 1.1, which in my short experience comes to life in the higher revs, 2.1 seems to be a low rev pulling machine map. It is not that explosion alike kick in the back, but the engine feels very balanced, a bit of ease up to around 40-50km/t, then it really starts coming to life, and it does it in a refined way - some might say sophisticated.

I can't say exactly, but it seemed as if the DSG gear was changing earlier, perhaps as a result of me actually getting up to speed faster, hard to tell with a DSG and it doing its magic.

From high end of 3rd and up through 4th and 5th, it just pulls away. It doesn't stop in 6th though, pulls very good here as well, but we all know that 6th is just for cruising speed anyway and not the fun one.
Would be interesting to see how a dyno looks like with this setting - well any settings for that matter.

Some day I might try out 2.2 shortly, but I'm not that much in going too close to the limits - call me cautious in this regard :)

Bottom line:
With the short time I have had the box mounted, the car feels more alive and more relaxed. I know this might sound as two opposite directions, but think of it as someone who just got his dreamjob and finally can settle with something that person always wanted. Alive and relaxed.

I am very impressed and very pleased and I'll keep runnning on 2.1 for some days - thanks for pushing me in that direction Andrew :)
Luckily I have a 1 hour+ drive tomorrow with a bit of motorway -should be fun.
