sometimes when i excellerate from low revs the DV will dump and i will have no boost.

what does this mean is there a leak in my boost pipes or something else?

it doesnt always do it, i can be excellerating really hard and it wont do it. but next time it will. its intermittent.

any advice??

have you bypassed the n249 valve because mine used ti do this sometimes befor i bypassed the n249

N249 Bypass Sssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrccccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Mine car also dumps in low revs when its ready & it aint traction as i always leave mine off.
Anyone got any ideas as to wots up?

As peachy said, i had this,as accelerating it was dumping and only boosting to around 5psi(usual 15/18psi) then all of sudden it would stop and boost fully, since i've done the n249 bypass it has been ok.

Turning the traction control on/off never did anything mine to solve the issue.

mine does this searched for months on why it would do it.. Bugger it, im going to do the bypass this weekend... really pisses me off sometime.. glad im not the only one though!

im 90% sure that doing the bypass will cure this as it did me and seems it did tim as well

have you looked under your bonnet?
check for leaks in your intercoolerpiping, vac hosing etc etc
do a leak test on your DV....
any lights on dash?

i have had a quick check under the bonnet cant see much wrong.how do i do leak test on my DV???

i will bypass the valve tomorow and see what it does if it doesnt do anything i will report back.

just checked all the pipes around the DV where tight and the pipes to the intercooler where tight. i dont have a Fmic so makes it more difficult.no lights on the dash tho, just dumps then i have no boost i have to wait for it to spool up again.usually by changing gear or something.

Jacko, just done mine in my lunch break, it takes 2 mins.. literally, i just bypassed mine leaving it plugged in..

seems to hold boost a little more, nothing significant though.. but more importantly it complely got rid of that irritating boost loss, and un-smooth boost curve..

No errors or anything yet, only 30 mins driving, but looks good..

Do it..
