hi i am thinking of doing the dv coldside relocation on my mk3 ibiza cupra, have been searching about it on here and people reccomend using the turbosmart dv for the sound but i have a forge 007p, does the 007p sound louder when relocated or would there be no point in doing it ? any info much appreciated thanks :)

Only reason to do it really it to get it away from the hot side and make resurc cold air instead of hot although im not aware of there being any gains to this..

i belive any dv would be louder on coldside as it getting air straight from the fmic ( if u have one) and it closer to the front of the car. i have a turbosmart which is on coldside and its loud as fcuk.

I have it fully open too.

I have a Forge 007p with the cold side relocation and TBH there isnt any difference, I just wanted to prolong the life of the dump/valve.

If your going for loudness then ^^^^ the comment above should help you ^^^^

In my honest opinion it doesnt make the valve louder at all

I have previously ran the turbosmart on coldside and at first i thought it was louder but then noticed no difference after fitting it in the normal place

I now run the 007p on coldside

i think it just sounds different, not louder , as its further away from you on coldside being at the front of the engine bay

How much and where abouts did everyone get the relocation kit from, cause its somethin im looking into doin to mine

may thanks

you can make the kit yourself all you need is
63mm silicone t piece
63mm aluminium hose joiner
25mm silicone tubing
25mm blanking plug

i think thats all you need to do it
