E-mail Notifications

Hi,

I recently upgraded my internet provider. Since doing so I haven't recieved any e-mail notification of new posts. I've checked my Default Thread Subscription Mode, which is set to - Instant e-mail notification.

Can anyone help me out?

You upgraded your ISP to AOL? What were you using before.... pigeon carriers?

You need to add [email protected] to whatever safelist AOL use

I've got this problem also, not sure if its linked to the down time the other day as it's only happed since then?

The fix for AOL is on its way, AOL are very anal about bulk e-mail from forums etc, so i've applied to have our domain whitelisted, however this could take some time.

I'll look into the other domains when I get 5.

The fix is already out, it's official name is "the-not-using-aol-fix"

Everything will work better after you use the fix.

No pigeon feed required.

I'm sure it will help Martyn if those of you with problems receiving notifications just list who your ISP is here in this thread.

AS soon as he has the time he can look to see if they have bulk email restrictions so we can look into getting SCN white-listed for all those affected.

No I just upgraded to a newer version of AOL.
