This will sound weird but please bear with me....
I leave for my work at 7.30am every morning. When i start the car and engage a gear it seems almost like i dont have a clutch. By saying this i mean i bring the clutch up and it doesn't seem to have a biting point . Has anyone came across this problem with a Mk4 Cupra TDi before?

Once the clutch has been used a couple of times the problem seems to disappear, also when i park up etc at the shops or whatever and leave the car the problem doesn't seem to rear its head.

I have only had the car a month and its only got 10k on it.

Cheers for any help

Chris

I swear my old TDI Cupra's clutch has a mind of its own..Bite point seemed all over the place sometimes. And sometimes the clutch would feel really light when using it first thing in the morning..

try having it bleed through. i had both slave and master cylindas go on my little 1.2 causing a simlar problem. if its still under warrenty take it back to the dealers
