Ive just bought a new Ecu of hooch with stage 1 on it...
Ive got vagcom but im wondering is it difficult to do it?

Ive found this guide on ross-tech is this the correct way?

Its really easy.

Load vagcom. Go to 17-Instruments, select 10-adaption, type in '00' and read. Then save. That will have reset the adaptions and now the car will run.

Yepp mate, it really is that easy. I've done mine a few times, when swapping my ECU, and no problems at all.
