egr bypass on 160 diesel cupra

i have bypassed the egr valve with a setup similar to the allard ones you can buy, now its fitted its made a hell of a difference its just the the engine management light is on now and i diont know how to get round it. i fitted the same thing on a 130 brake and cant remeber if i blanked both or one or which one of the vacuum pipes that had to be disconnected and no light came on with that

if anyone has any ideas or knows how to get round it with vag com can you le me know as i am plugging it in later round my mates house and its just annoying having a yellow light on the dash

it needs to be mapped out, I had the EGR blanked off on my Cupra and the EGR function turned right down with vag com but the CEL still come on until the car was mapped and the EGR function(?) disabled/removed

is there no way of writing it out with vag com then? how do i turn it down if not? i am not very familiar with vag com so will need a step by step guide writing ha ha
