Electric mirrors query

When I adjust the right hand mirror, the left hand one also moves.. is this right? It doesnt happen when i adjust the left.

Ive been back to dealer with it and they say its normal but im not so sure about this...

Any info much appreciated

hmmm, well that sucks.. its a pain in the ass having to re-adjust the left mirror after moving the right!

Why? If he does the left then the right - the right hand one would move the left out of place again.

what I meant was Right- Left, and switch back to right again, then if you move the seat you only have one adjustment to make

mine is a 2005 fr and my mirrors deffo move independently

my Golf did this it was gr8 because the mirrors were of a decent size so i only had to move the right mirror.

personally I think some people have a sticky mirror selector switch fault and they are being fobbed off by the stealers
