Or Polished lip and bright Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, Centres!!!!
I'm in two minds to do that to the dials, but now they are all polished I can't bring myself to do it!
White looks pretty hot too mind!

Yeah i was thinking of doing it myself, maybe put my steelies on for 2 weeks and just do them slowly. What sort of paint did you use?

i did mine with run of the mill spray paint, plastikote type stuff or halfords will do... primer paint and laquer will be needed though

wet and dry paper.plus green oxide to take first lot off...sugar soap also....and if they are to be done properly you should really use an etch primer first

Strip the laquer with nitromorse and give them a polish and they will probably look good enough for now

Well im not quite sure what is under it, it is like peeling and there is just black rusty stuff underneath.

Are they laquered, or is it chrome plating?

After minutes of extensive research i can reveal that it is laquer and underneath is nice and shiny

I think that you should do the centres of the wheels white. And either polish the lip or leave it as it already is. Would look good I think.

I know what you mean about the dents. I think that will be the next thing getting fixed on mine.

Yep same. I want to get the dents on mine sorted as I think Im going to keep the car for alittle longer yet.

Thinking of an engine conversion. The thought gets more and more after reading Martin and Roly's threads.
