would be wicked for such a small engine, to put all the battery and washer bottle etc in the boot or in the scuttle...
probably a lot mor work than you wanted but itd be v.different, and would look pretty swish i think![]()
really liking this mate, reminds me on my first nk2 seat ibiza, i love it,
keep up the good work bud
Thanks Head upI do try my best to keep Izzard looking nice

400AMP welding wire is what i used for the battery i think....
proly bought about 7m of the stuff so i got + and - out of it with stuff to spare, bet it only cost me 25 quid or so aswell
best wire youll get is welding wire, nicely insulated and carries plenty of amps
if you went for the fully stripped engine bay itd suit the style youve gone for, for the rest of the car i reckon![]()
no worries bud, really liking your sig pic aswell.
theres loads of bits you could do, like hide wiring in conduit under the chassis rails and hide random bits which i cant think of right now
if youve dewipered the boot wiper, youve already got some washer hose going from front to backso you could use that and put the bottle in the boot... then itd be a simple wiring job to get it to work properly... mk1 golfs had a rear mounted washer bottle thats simple as to mount if thats any use as opposed the the huge thing in the engine bay... just ideas anyways
if you do move the battery, ring everything to the starter motor + and then send the cable to the boot, as opposed to using a junction box... makes it loads neater
That's one shiny engine bay. I might do mine now.
How did you go about cleaning it?
