Battery is/will be in the boot when i pick up my battery tray this week.
Martin, similar to that but it needs to be straight. I want to put the filter down behind the headlights where the battery used to be.

was it easy to relocate the battery.are you just using a normal battery. where will you be mounting it.where will you be moving the fuse holder to sorry for all the questions really wanting to do this to

Its ok, battery will be in the spare wheel well in a alloy battery tray. I've run a 4awg wire from the original +ve to the back of the car to the battery then earthed the battery on the bodywork.
I've had to extend the fuse holder so i can put it on the side of the suspension turret.
i'll be taking pics of all these next weekend when its all finished.

Thanks martin, there plenty of 76mm tubing on ebay but i'm not sure the hose will stretch over the extra 6mm so i might have to plump and go for, what is expensive. 70mm stuff on ebay.
I know its crazy *****! I might take an off cut of 70mm hose into motorworld to see if it fits onto a 76mm tube. Would make it a lot easier!
That is one clean engine bay, looks really good mate and after the battery goes and filter moves it should look wicked with pretty much just be the engine left in
for the alloy tube you could buy 5 meters of 70mm, then cut it into 300mm lengths and make a killing on ebay

500ml drinks bottle with a push connector glued unto it so i can take it out to refill. Doesnt look the prettiest but its hidden and it works.

Phil i got 60mm hoses over a 63mm pipe and that was very tight so i think another 3mm is asking alot lol
I was afraid of that, might have a try tho but i can see me plumping for the expensive stuff on ebay.
I was told that some of the new vag stuff such as lupos have the battery in the boot and a really easy way to relocate my battery was to buy the setup from one of them and use it.
