engine code

i'v seen alot of talk bout BAM and AUQ etc etc, how do i know what my engine is? its a 55 plate LCR? need to know for ordering parts etc, cheers

it should be a BAM, same as mine

you can check if you take the engine cover off, its on a metal tag on the left end of the head

If you go under the bonnet, with a big Philips screw driver, unscrew the two plastic screws holding the large plastic cover, the one that say seat sport on it and remove it. to your left hand side, under the cover you removed you should find what you looking for. OR pull the carpet up in your boot and youl find a white sticker with the weight and a few other codes, and you should find 225 somewhere!
