Engine light on, but running fine??

I am due a service, which it's about 1k miles over due. Would this cause the issue? Car runs fine but light came on last night...

service time & eml are two different things
yo need it scanned by vcds aka vag-com to know why eml has come on

Hmmm... dunno y the code is diff, googled it and it was coming up on other forums, so im not the only one getting it... maybe its because i bought the cable of ebay lol..? Thanks for the link, need to locate where the sensor is and check it... prob need to check the fuse first tho, do you know which one it may be?
The car feels fine, nothing has changed!

Ahh bad times... thanks for checking the code out (oldman), will be researching further to get to the bottum of it... i would be greatful if anyone is fammiliar with this, and knows what to do and where to check!! the car is a 1.6 16V leon sx 2004 (mk1)
