ENGINE LIGHT on Dash

This came on while driving tonight. Cars still seems to drive/pull ok.

Is there anything that I should really worry about, as I cant image I can get it seen to this side of the New Year ?

Well it could be pretty much anything, I think i'd want to get it checked ;-)

Just post a request in the VAG-COM section to see if someone in your area will check it for you.

It is usually just a sensor, as long as the car is running ok. Still worth getting it checked later on.

Just to add to that, I ran my car for a year with that light on and it was fine. I had one dealer claim he fixed it, only for it to come on later.

Beware of the fact that all they do is reset the light, and while the light appears to have gone off and the problem solved, it will come back on if they did not fix the actual problem.
