engine management light on! Please help!

Right my engine management light came on the other day so i took it to my local german car centre who deleted an unknown fault code... well the light is back on and they havent got a clue whats causing it!

the car is an ibiza 1.4TDi remapped. the car runs fine all the way to top end speeds, doesnt seem to be using anymore diesel than normal and doesnt seem to be smoking more than normal so any ideas what the problem could be???

the garage's diagnostics system wouldnt work properly because the car is remapped thus non standard!

i'm confused so has anyone else had this problem and any ideas as to what could be causing the light to stay on???

Its too hard to say without plugging it in as the light could mean anything. I have never heard the "We can't do anything as its remapped" excuse though!!

Are you anywhere near Kent, South East? I could plug in for you if you like.

I wa with Ric2001 on saturday. He showed me VAG-com and he just cleared a code straight out right! that was mad lol!

They should do something if its been remapped? that sounds like bullsh!t to me!
