:(

I hooked car up to Vg com this morning and found this

Control Module Part Number: 6K0 906 032 AA
Component and/or Version: 1.8L 20VT EU3 0002
Software Coding: 10500
Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
1 Fault Found:
17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean

P1128 - 35-00 - -

Just wondering if it has anything to do with Pipercross. I cleared it and the car started spluttering like mad for 20 seconds then ran ok again but it seems slow picking up when accelerating :(

It's only happened as soon as i put pipercross on :( If this is the problem then i'll be selling the bloody induction kit. Is it a tork tool that i need to unplug it or should it just pull out?

The bracket was fitted with the piper cross and it doesn't move around at all.
I tried to pull the plug but there must be a catch underneath it or something and i can't get it to pull off.

The car seems a bit stuttery though and not half as quick as it should be so im assuming that the maf is on the way out. I don't mind shelling out for a new one but i don't want piper cross to kill the next one. The only thing i have noticed id that there was no oil with the piper cross so it either came pre oiled or that is another problem. I'll try VAG COM again and see what the reading is.

yeah i know phil was just pointing out what they are for :)

symptoms you describe along with that fault code almost guarantee the maf has failed, if you unplug it you should get your power back, but dont leave it like that for too long. buy another one from euro car parts and if it fails again, take it back
