Engine management light

The wifes just phoned me on her way home, she said the car like missed a beat and the engine management light has come on, she said the cars running ok??

Going to have a look when she gets home but wondered if anyone had any ideas before i start??

Donno if this helps...

Had the EML come on when I was having an issue with the Turbo... Charteristics: EML flashed when the Turbo misfired... Could also feel a jolt plus lack of power, EML stayed on after excessive misfiring!
Eventually nailed it to a faulty coil. After a couple of computer diags after the problem... Swapping the coil of the problem cylinder, and having the problem move with the coil!! Replaced... No EML and constant Turbo!
