Engine mounts

Hi need a front engine mount for my Ibiza cupra 6k2 20vt. Belive it's my front engine mount as engine moves forward/backwards and can see a little moment in the mount itself.

Is there a way to check my mounts - other than foot on inlet and rocking it.

Do golf mk3 mounts fit?? Found solid golf mk3 mounts on eBay for £50 stealers are £77.50 and vibra-technics are £133 plus vat. Would love to save the cash and get a golf one

I bought a full set of BFI mounts from Regal for £129 for my Ibiza. They were the Mk3 Golf VR6 mounts.

mk3 golf VR6, 16v, 8v
mk2 seat ibiza 2.0 16v and 1.9tdi
Mk3 ibiza 1.8t
mk2 golf 2.0 16v

but didnt think the mk2 fitted the mk3 (ibiza)

machined from high grade aerospace alloy - £43.00 on ebay seems to good to be true - wont be as good as the Regal ones as have heard great things about them but for a 1/3rd of the price willing to sacrifice on some vibration lol

Cheers dale? Yea think his username is dUFF supposedly a bit cheaper if you go direct too him rather than eBay, are the increased vibrations not too bad then??

ive just phoned regal and the guy said the mk3 ibiza cupra is the same mounts as the mk4 golf!!?? and they were over £200.. I thought it was the mk3 golf vr6 / g60 mounts that fit??

was the £129 for the 3 mounts complete or the inserts?

mk3 ones should be the same
solid front may be too harsh tho... although the cross member itself is rubber bushed so may isolate vibrations itself to an extent

Seat Ibiza 1.8t - mk3
And a few more - search vr6 soild mount on eBay, then check the list for cars it should fit

I have one of those solid front mounts along with vibratechnics rear and gearbox and there is only a small amount of vibration from dead cold start, other than that perfectly liveable with imo

Look whats stamped on the bottom of the solid ones, - arrived this morning so not fitted yet will let you know how it goes

Yep same as mine great upgrade for the money!

Make sure you loctite the threads on the bolts or they will probably come loose and you dont want the bottom part of the mount to fall off and get lost while driving

Yea did think about that as the bolts go in so smooth. Real nice product can't wait to fit it. Was under the car doing wishbone bushes on the weekend and i could move the engine mount with my hands :-/

Can someone confirm the vibratech mount VAG885M fits an 6k2 cupra.
It says it Replaces OEM part number:- 357199262, 1H0199262 (A,D,F,&K)

When i check part numbers it says the part number is 1H0199262B.
