Engine No. Last piece to Jigsaw

Hi Guys,

this is giving me the right hump now. Can someone please post a picture of an LCR (225BHP) engine bay and mark where I could look to see the engine number so that I can compare it with the log book. I have gotta buy the car on Saturday and I need to know all is well. REally appreciate it.

It should be on a sticker (in full) on the cam belt cover behind the boost pipe but the code will also be stamped into the head corner above number one cylinder.

Cheers Crasher!!, I have seen the code BAM on the head on the left, it looks like its made up of a series of dots to make up the letters.

As far as the cam belt I will take a look this weekend. Is it clearly visible on the cambelt? And when you say in 'Full' do you mean it should also show the six digits also?
