Basically ive had the same changes as you though mines has been in 5 times to get it done but the only problem is that you wont actually know if its fixed or not till this weather clears

I don't think it's the software update imho.
Did they check the old injectors for any missing metal?
I've been feeding my garage the stories of others on here and they found some metal in my engine and completely stripped it down. Seat then said to put a new one in.
What you're describing is what mine did. The only way to drive it for me was put it in manual (+) and keep the revs above 5000rpm. Was pretty noisy especially with the Revo.

They did a scan on Saturday and it showed a misfire on 3 and 4...
Today, i've called them and they say they have another car in for the same reason. Then he says " well, maybe its becuase of your chip ( technical term of course ! ) - I did tell you that the software update could damage the ECU..
Eh ? Is this just VW trying to wriggle ? Revo said there will be no issue with the upgrade, I asked them first..
Also, looking on the 'net, there are loads and loads of issues with this engine...

The tech reports misfires happening in different cylinders on different road tests. As its not the same cylinder each time, its lead him to conclude that perhaps the fuel is dirty....
Fuel tank now being drained and flushed to see if this cures it...

add one more to this problem my car is doing exact same thing. (thanks to the link from bizscotty) i took mine to Seat portsmouth and they plugged it up 10 mins later "we cant find anything wrong with it" and told me to come back if it happens again well one week later it has happened again reduced power all the way home juddering, epc and emissions lights not a happy bunny ment to be getting my REVO on friday
