well today i received my 4 bar fpr, i decided to fit it too as it was my day off, when driving the revs started to stutter over 5k and felt almost like a misfire, i thought this was down to my car not being mapped so i decided to put my standard fpr back on.

however now my dash has an EPC warning light up and my car struggles to start off without stalling and barely makes it to 20mph, it isnt making vacum either.

what have i done? lol

well it run fine on the 4 bar just over 5k it stuttered a bit.

just got the usual valve bypasses, forge tip + dv and filter.

but as soon as i changed it back its seemed to have gone into some kind of epc limp mode

atm im just building up the parts to go hybrid, just thought i could fit them as i went along but obv not lol

how am i going to find out what fuse is blown?

Have a look through some threads on here buddy to get clued up on it further before doing anything else.

Can't believe for a second that you can change the FPR and not see if a fuse is blown...

Check fuse 8 and if the wire is broken the fuse is blown ;)

Defiantly don't need one then buddy. Only need one when going stage 3 with a hybrid turbo...

You will need to get her on vag com bud.

If you don't have access to it you may be lucky and it might be a fuse that has blown. Not sure if the codes clear after you change it though.

Ive been thinking about buying 1 for my revo stage 2 remap, it says on there website that it needs 1 for it?

i will be running a stage 2 revo with k04 -023 and backdraft said i dont need it....,

i think it all depends on the injectors you run... if there rated a 3bar...prob best to stick with that.. and just get larger cc injectors

you will probably find your ecu is flashed with a tt/s3 code tho if thats your spec.
8n0 ecu prefix afterwards

Not that this really helps you but my 1.4 Ibiza is having the same problem with the EPC light coming on and it stalling but I've not done anything to it! It only happens sometimes though and the rest of the time its fine.
