Well I go and view a Leon 1.8 T Cupra tomorrow and I cant wait - 99% I will sign for it.

I have been looking around at the various web reviews, but maybe some of you guys can give me a feel for how good this car is, and what I should look forward to.

Nothing like hearing it from other drivers of the car!

Its a 2004/04 plate in Platinum Grey,

nah, I am thinking insurance too! The wife will be driving the car more than me actually as I sit bumper to bumper on the Mway each day and i dont see the point.

She would be more comfortable in the LC, and prefers it being a little more understated

LC still quick though it seems through reading this forum

good quick car mate. rear can be a bit bouncy on b roads... but otherwise fine.

theres lots you can do if you want more fun. better suspension and a remap will transform the car. the stock tyres are not fun in the wet.

If your planning to mod your 180 you will have to declare these mods to the insurance company so you might as well get a 225 LCR!!! Better to invest in the car than mods as you rarely get your money back on your mods.

yeah, but the missus doesnt like the thought of the R being a harder ride. I have a 2.5 vectra v6 sri (sorry!) with all the suspension mods etc and it rides like a donkey over bumps!
