exhaust backbox, system ..cordoba 1.6 sx

can anyone help me with this im as looking for any online stores that sell aftermarket backboxs or systems for corby 1.6sx any that i have found are for the 2.0 16v versions....

Or would it just be easier going to powerflow and getting a system built? anyone know how much they cost on cordobas too?
 
I have a stainless steel remus back box for a cordoba 1.6 75 bhp car with smaller exhaust pipe. had it fitted to my sx 100 aft with a adapter made up. sounded good

or I have a 2.0 16v back box that hangs under the bumper with out the cut out for later cordobas 2.0 16v bolts up to the 2" mid pipe

does it have a nice tone the 2.0 16v backbox?
 
Hello i got powerflow to make me a cat back system without the silencer mid box for £280 . they did it in two hours all stainless steal. you never half to look at it again. there is a great note out of it.

is that the one in the in the northeast? just shame theres not enough exhausts for cordobas sx models as there all for ibizas n such
 
Well i am from ireland. on the border to Northren Ireland and there is a place called Jons Exhusts near me. I think getting it made is the best way.

yeah looks like thats the only option really. i found a company called remus that does exhausts for our sx models but im not going to pay like 450 -500 lol do u feel any real power gains then from a powerflow system?
 
you will feel a bit more power. But more to the point i had a lot of bother with rust on my old exhust system which was the one from new. I had to keep welding the blow outs so i said **** that and got that system done so i wouldnt have to think about it anymore. Plus i looks very impresive when your going to sale it and they take a look underneth and see lovely stainless steal pipes.

i imagine :) my exhaust is wrecked like...came with the car and the lad before aint took care of it at all lol...smell petrol quite bad too.....ive changed everything plugs. leads, etc..incase it was misfiring but the smell is still there. The cat could be f*****D ..i know its got to be leaking like lol.....just reallly could do with a new system in :)
 
Its all up to weather you want to spend the money or not. Mine was £280 thats from the cat straight back to a back box then they can weld on any tail piece you want. That price you told me 400/500 is the hole system i would say which is cat and manifold. Which i dont think you need done

when ive checked the exhaust tho it looks like its been bodged up from the pipe just past the cat....could do with a full exhaust, just not the manifold lol
 
Go for it you will love the noise out of it . I love mine . Its the best thing i did to my car
