Panic over.

Can now report order date 18/01, scheduled build w/c 24/02.

Obviously the nice lady at SEAT thought build week was too technical for me (and might be right).

wow, that's a fast turn around, you might get your car after only 9 weeks. I'm hoping mine be that quick as well. Dealer should be contacting me today with the build week details. :fingerscrossed:

just had a update mail from the my dealer :)

dealer said:
Your order now has a confirmed build week for its production at the factory in Spain, this is wk/10 (6th-12th March), so depending on shipping it is likely to arrive in the UK before the end of March

It justs keeps getting better.
Just got a call from the dealer and the car has been built.

Could there have been a cancelled order somewhere?

Perth, - still in the UK :-)
Just got my build week from Seat CS.
Car Ordered 5th Feb (after changing original order placed 20th January see thread "Changing Specification after placing order")

Build week scheduled for week 11 (w/c 11/03/14).

Got this message from dealer
"It is possible that the 18" space tyre may have to be substituted with a 16"
space saver due to supply constraints. We are waiting to hear and I will
update you as soon as possible."

No big deal as it's only a get you to nearest repair depot, and with the correct tyre the rim size is irrelevant. Note dealer advised me that unless you have a spare wheel you don't get a jack!

it will be interesting to see who 'wins' out of all of us week 10ers and gets their car delivered first. Must be a good 5-6 of us now in this game.

Mine was also ordered 5th Feb so will be interesting to see what boild date I get. Dealer was quoting 12 weeks to be safe, but said cars are typically arriving in 6-7 weeks at the moment. Fingers crossed!

I would double check with them that the 16" will fit.
You can get the same diameter with the tyre, but I would be more worried about the inside of the wheel fitting over the bigger disks of the 184.
