Hey guys

Just wondered if anyone has or has attempted to install lights under the door handle so they light up when you unlock the car?

I've seen them on bmws and they look quite funky!

Cheers

Thanks for the links. I can't wait to give this a go.
I've gone for the red ones, hopefully they'll look good on the black.

Edit: I know no-one in this thread has done it, but would the LED's been on the inside face of the handle (Facing inwards, towards the car)? Or would they be on the sides of the handle?
I haven't had the chance to look yet, and have yet to take my door apart or handle off, so any advice will be well appreciated.

Or I could just be lazy and wait for the guide. :p

Well looking at Altech's I'd sayhe put them on the inside of the handle pointing towards the car. Could do it like that as well as some pointing to the ground? Range rover style.
May take it upon myself to have a little tinker on the mothers range!

Why not drill holes into the under side of the mirror caps and have the LEDs mounted there pointing down/diagonally to light up the kerb/path like pubble lights? Will be a lot less hasstle that removing the door card and handles.

Sorry mate :D.

I was surprised how bright these little bugger are. It should be a simple case of sticking them on the back of the handle (they are on a double sided strip) and then running the wire's to the inteior light, job done :funk:
