Exterior door handle lights

I was going to have a bash at installing them but unfortunately because I live in an apartment the postman cant always get in so should have had them Saturday but didnt 
so will have to wait until my day off Friday to have a install them! Got my footwells installed a while back so will have to post a pic on here

What are your foot wells wired up up I'm installing some more to come on with the interior light
I've wired them up to my side lights at the moment but looking to get them wired up to a switch so I can turn them on when i want

Need sum brighter and shorter ones as they hang down the sides at the moment

took the interior light down, tapped into the two correct wires for +/- then ran them under the headlining to the a-pillar. pulled the a pillar off. ran the wires down to the floor and then soldered them to the panels. took about 30 mins. well worth it too.
Changed my LEDS in my centre console today, They did look tacky and naff so i put some smaller ones in and did them properly this time
i did my footwells so thought i would share. i just used the white smd led panel with the 3m sticky foam on the back

wow, seems quite bright, did you also install a switch?
i used the smd strips - supposed to be white but look a little blue. not too much of a problem as they match the display on my head unit anyway
i installed a switch towards the drivers footwell (out of sight) if i wanted them off, maybe for a night time motorway cruise - but to be honest the car looks weird without them now.
Instead of going all the way through headlining you can just splice Into the correct cables that run down the a pillar just use the little clip tool that splices into the wires without a need of terminal blocks, soldering etc
