external temp sensor (mk4 ibiza tdi)

Hi, it's a nice today.. today, but my temp gauge says it's 5 degrees just, about 10degrees out.. i've disconnected the battery briefly, but it hasn't reset..

any suggestions..

cheers mate, i'll give it a go.. it's driving me knuts having the ice alert relay pinging every time the ignition comes on..

hi, i've given that a go, but still no luck.. i reckon maybe the sensor's given up..
