External Temp sensor

Can this affect the preformance of the car if the sensor is not picking up correctly? Sorry if this is a silly question but I guessed that it would be using this along with the settings from the maf etc to make the car run correctly

no it wont affect your car mate just will affect your a/c iirc mines fooked and car drives fine and threw only the oat sensor fault up on vag com
