Fault Code: 17535

Hi All,

Further to a problem I have posted previously I did a vag com check and it came up with the error code:

1 Fault Found:
17535 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Rich
P1127 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Any ideas what this could be caused by?

Thanks mate.

So it looks like this code will be generated by a boost leak.

I don't think mine will be the same as the pipe in the link as I have a FMIC which changes the route of the standard piping.

It turned out to be a boost leak on the smaller charge pipe, boost pipe, where it had split at its connection point to the charge pipe.

I think it was due to the charge pipe being re-installed on top of the two boost feed pipes instead of lifting them back into the pipe location braket (see pics), putting extra strain on the connection. This was done my a local garage when replacing my cambelt!!

I'll probably replace it with better hoses.
