I took the throttle body off the car today, gave it a good clean reset with VCDS and now I've got the management light on and a code 17961. I cleared the code, and it comes back in a few minutes. What have I done, and what can I do to fix it?
Thanks

Plugged in properly as in 4 bolts nice and tight, and plug connected, I think so. I'll check in the morning though, just in case.
I checked again with VCDS that I had aligned it properly, and that's fine. I'm thinking that maybe the MAP sensor needs a clean too. Might be worth me cleaning everything on the inlet side, what do you think?
Also, will it help if I disconnect the battery for a while? Will it do a bit of a reset?

All fixed, cleared fault codes reset TB and EGR valve with VCDS, revved erratically when warm for a while, but after a long drive everything has now settled and running better than before.
