Hmm, definatly looks interesting but i'd like to see a finished one (pics) first.

Also with them boldtin thought a hold, the inner mount panel doesnt seem to have a great deal of contact with the car as the bulk od the backing space is a void in the bodywork, would it not be better if it had a larger contact area??

Its very tempting. I would have been interested to see if it made much difference to a standard car and whether like rdjmoose says it will effect handling in a negative way. Just a bit worried about the back end being braced and the front end not. What will this do to the handling? Im also a bit worried about what Slime101 said about it not having much contact with the car. Cheers

Depends how the metal layout is where the plates bolt in, someone with these cars would have to look, pretty sure the Golf has a different side panel layout. Production will begin next week, so hopefully will have some ready to sell the week after that, so 2weeks I think!

rob... i would rather wait till i did a few more mods to my car before buying a rear strut brace.

is the £98.50 an introductory price? or is that a GB price? i would kick myself if the price went up in 4 months time! lol

That's the price they'll be. Pretty much all of it is materials and postage, so will always be £98.50 - but I need 10 orders or he won't make them, no point in setting up a production run for one or two bars. I already have 2 orders from another forum.

If you wish to order using PayPal the price is £102.50, to cover admin costs, otherwise has to be a cheque or direct bank transfer.

I won't know for sure until I get a production brace, don't know how much the design has changed from the mock-up, but a very small indent in the plastic and a slit in the top of the carpet trim may be required. Even the bolt-in Yarrowsport one for the Golf MkIV required trimming too.
